Learn the difference between slips / engobes / underglazes
Watch demonstrations and participate in hands-on practice of
various ways to using underglases: liquid, pencils, crayons, etc.
Workshop begins at 9:00am and ends at 4:00pm
The fee is $40.00 for members, $45.00 for non-members.
Participants will have to bring a bag lunch.

Participants need to bring:
- Clay tiles (approx. 6"x6" or larger) in both cheese hard and bisque state — approx. dox. Of each, more depending on how much they wish to experiment — majority of tiles should be white or buff colored (colors show up best on these backgrounds) but bring several red clay tiles as well;
- Assorted brushes including a foam brush and a brush for wax;
- Container for wax;
- Sponges;
- Old, used toothbrush;
- Containers for water;
- Plastic lids (margarine, yogurt, ice cream, etc. — white is best);
- Scissors, ruler, pencil;
- Notebook;
- Loop/carving tools if you have and wish to use;
- Stamps if you have and wish to try;
- Several sheets white printer paper to cup up (can be recycled sheets);
- Ribs including metal (if you have one), and
- Moist clay.
